High-Voltage Transmission Project

This 345kV transmission line project involved the construction of over 30 miles a new high-voltage transmission line connecting two existing substations to address substantial growth in the region coupled with limited local generation and transmission constraints, which presented a risk for contingency thermal overloads, single contingency low voltages or voltage collapses, double contingency voltage collapses, significant load shed, and restrictions on power imports.

Pegasus-Global was engaged by ATC to conduct a prudence audit of the Company’s internal decision-making and decision-implementation process related to the execution of the project, including an assessment of whether the Company’s existing policies aligned with industry standard practices.
